Careers

Vacancy: Web Applications Developer

Escrivo is looking for an enthusiastic web applications developer to join our growing Internet Consulting business.

The right person for this role will be an individual who can demonstrate a commitment to developing and maintaining our clients' web-based applications and websites. You will be working directly with our clients and working as part of our web application development team. You will be working with a wide variety of technologies: flexibility, strong communications skills and attention to detail are essential.

You must be able to demonstrate that you have a working knowledge of client-side technologies, particularly XHTML/HTML and CSS but also Javascript and AJAX, and how these impact upon issues such as accessibility and cross-browser compatibility.

You will have developed web-based solutions in the past, ideally 2-3 years' experience with Microsoft technologies such as C#, ASP.NET and SQL Server, and will be keen to work on a range of platforms and applications, applying themselves to a wide range of situations in support of our clients' requirements. This role represents an excellent opportunity for anyone keen to continue to develop their experience of website and web application development, and would be a good role for someone seeking a path towards being a technical lead.

Remuneration will be based on the level of skills which you can demonstrate.

To apply, please contact Amanda Hebblethwaite by email at enquiries@escrivo.com with your CV and portfolio or examples of your work if possible. It would be helpful if you could also indicate your current salary. No agency enquiries, please.
